Funding For Community Priorities
Neighbourhood Partnership funding for projects that address local priorities is available now.
Funding will be available to the third sector and community groups working in partnership to address the priorities of the local areas.
The Neighbourhood Partnership Fund was created by the City of Cardiff Council to encourage community participation in developing innovative solutions to respond to local issues in each of the six neighbourhood partnership areas. – Cardiff North, Cardiff East, Cardiff South East, Cardiff City and South, Cardiff South West and Cardiff West.
There is a total of £10,000 available in each of the six areas.
Funding is awarded in the range of £150 to £1,500 although in exceptional circumstances, amounts up to a maximum of £2,000 may be considered. Projects need to be ‘sponsored’ by a local elected member from the ward in which the project will be delivered.
The closing date for applications in the first round is 5pm on May 31 while applications in the second round, subject to the availability of funding, must be submitted by 5pm on September 26. Funding is allocated on a first come first served basis.
Individuals or organisations with ideas for improving their community can also get support with the application process by contacting Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) on 029 2048 5722.
