Travel review website, TripAdvisor, has given Cardiff Central Library Hub its seal of approval with a 2016 Certificate of Excellence. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The recognition reflects the consistently good reviews of the library by visitors to the online review platform and the superior service on offer at the facility. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Central Library underwent a major upgrade to its facilities last summer with the creation of a state-of-the-art digital floor, new teenage library and the relocation of the Council’s advice services into the building. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

TripAdvisor reviews came from visitors from the USA, China, Spain and Belgium as well as the city’s own residents who praised the library’s ‘awesome architecture’, ‘amazing staff’ and fantastic views from inside the building. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Cabinet Member for Community Development, Co-operatives and Social Enterprise, Cllr Peter Bradbury, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and my congratulations go to everyone who works so hard in Central Library Hub to deliver a first-class service for our customers. It’s great to get this recognition.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
