Cardiff Devils Continue Partnership With Cardiff Metropolitan University
The Cardiff Devils are pleased to announce that their longstanding partnership with Cardiff Met will continue for another season.
The University’s School of Management will welcome three Devils onto their Masters of Business Administration course (MBA) this year. Layne Ulmer, Gleason Fournier and Scott Hotham will all be heading back to school to earn their Masters Degree while playing for the Devils as part of the partnership with the School of Management.
“I believe this partnership is great for the Devils in terms of recruiting top players from other international leagues to play here in Cardiff,” explained Managing Director Todd Kelman.
“We have had a number of current and former Devils earn their Masters Degree from the School of Management at Cardiff Met and hopefully we can continue to work together for years to come.”
David Brooksbank, Dean of the School of Management and Pro Vice-Chancellor for the University spoke about the ongoing partnership with the Devils:
“I’m delighted with our continuing partnership with the Devils. Our MBA programme has proved both a challenging and rewarding experience for many former players and I’m sure this year will be no different.
“It is vital that sporting stars plan for life both during and after their playing careers and education is a crucially important element of this. I look forward to welcoming this year’s players onto the Masters and wish them success both on and off the ice.”
