A48 Eastbound Carriageway To Close For Six Weeks

The eastbound carriageway of the A48 between Pensarn and Nantycaws will be closed for six weeks from September 20 for engineering works to be carried out by Mainline Pipelines Ltd. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Traffic will be diverted along the old Nantycaws bypass by heading northeast from the Pensarn roundabout along the A40 then taking the fourth exit onto the B4300 and continuing straight onto Heol Llangynnwr and on to the A48 at the Nantycaws junction. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
