Cawl Goes Down A Treat In Carmarthenshire Markets
Shoppers in Carmarthen and Llanelli Indoor Market were treated to a free Cawl tasting as part of St David’s Day celebrations.
Hundreds of cups of the traditional Welsh dish were served up as visitors made their way around the markets.
In Llanelli Market Scarlets players Lewis Rawlings and Tadhg Beirne spent the morning helping to dish up the soup, whilst Cor Curiad entertained the crowds with their singing.
Queues formed in Carmarthen Market with shoppers eagerly awaiting a warm cup of the broth.
