Families Active Together At Easter

Communities First has held a successful Family Activity Day at Llanelli Leisure Centre during the Easter holidays. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The event from 11am-4pm on Tuesday March 29 included a free swimming session, free fitness taster sessions for all ages, puppet making and a healthy cooking workshop. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

During the day there were also sketching tutorials, a jewellery workshop, a soft play area, Parent and Toddler Session and toddler bikes. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Communities First Cluster manager Amy Hawkins said: “It was a very successful day. Both parents and children really enjoyed getting active together as a family.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
