Free NHS Breast Screening Returns To Llanelli

The Breast Test Wales mobile screening unit is returning to Llanelli. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The mobile unit will be situated at Morrisons Car Park, Llanelli from September 2016–April 2017 ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Women aged between 50 and 70 this year, who live in Wales will automatically receive postal invitations to attend for screening, if they are registered with the following surgeries: Avenue Villa Surgery, Fairfield Surgery, Ashgrove Medical Centre, Ty Elli Surgery, Machynys Medical Practice, Llwynhendy Health Centre and Andrew Street Surgery. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Women who are aged over 70 will not automatically be invited for breast screening, but can request an appointment by telephoning Breast Test Wales on 01792 459988 ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
