Grants To Help Business In Carmarthenshire

Applications are being invited in the coming weeks for two new multi million pound funds to assist businesses and commercial property developers to create top quality business premises and new jobs in Carmarthenshire.
The £6.6m Transformational Commercial Property Development Fund Scheme will enable developers, investors and land owners to meet the financial gap between construction costs and the completed market value of the property. The deadline for applications is the end of July.
Carmarthenshire County council executive board member for regeneration and leisure Cllr Meryl Gravell said: “The project will provide financial assistance to developers to bridge the gap.”
The £4.4m Carmarthenshire Rural Enterprise Fund Scheme will help develop new and existing rural business premises, where new jobs are created. The deadline for applications is June 30.
Council Leader Cllr Emlyn Dole said: “The Rural Enterprise fund is to create employment opportunities in the rural area of the county.”
