Markets Join Mentrau Iaith’s Football Campaign

Get your chance to show your support for the Wales team ahead of Euros 2016 – as a giant football comes to Carmarthen and Llanelli market this week. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Carmarthen and Llanelli Indoor Markets are both joining in with Mentrau Iaith Euros 2016 ‘Y Bêl’ campaign.
23 gigantic balls are touring the length and bredth of Wales and will be stopping off at the indoor markets in Carmarthen and Llanelli as part of Love Your Local Market fortnight. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Get your chance to sign the ball in Llanelli Market between 12pm – 3.30pm on Thursday May 26 and in Carmarthen Market between 12pm – 3.30pm on Friday May 27. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Carmarthenshire County Council’s executive board member for the markets, Cllr David Jenkins, said: “It’s great to see Carmarthenshire Markets joining in and supporting Mentrau Iaith’s campaign to muster up support for our national team. I would like to encourage everyone to come down to the markets and join in the celebrations.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
