Next Steps Deadline Extended

If you thought you’d missed your chance to enter Next Steps 2016, then you are in luck! ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The deadline has been extended for another week to give people an extra few days to get their application forms in. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Anyone interested in competing for a chance to win one of four two-year construction apprenticeship with Lloyd & Gravell Ltd or TRJ Ltd, has now got until 5pm on Friday, June 17, to submit their application. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“We wanted to give more people the chance to get their entries in as we had quite a few last-minute inquiries,” said Kevin Gravell, Director of Lloyd & Gravell Ltd. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“We’re very much looking forward to going through the applications and shortlisting for the interviews.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Owain Jones, of TRJ Ltd, said: “We’re pleased to be able to extend our deadline. It’ll be too late after Friday, so please – if you are interested in entering – do it now!” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Next Steps is a joint initiative between the two local building firms and Constructing Carmarthenshire Together – a partnership between Carmarthenshire County Council’s Property division, Coleg Sir Gâr, and Carmarthenshire Construction Training Association Ltd. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
