The site is 2.8 acres and is being advertised for sale for mixed use development. Aspirations include retail outlets, a hotel, and pub restaurant which will undoubtedly be a catalyst for future developments within the Burry Port area. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The Burry Port Harbourside development initiative is an ambitious regeneration proposal driven forward by the Llanelli Waterside Joint Venture. This Joint Venture (JV) is a flagship partnership between the Welsh Government and Carmarthenshire County Council originally formed back in the 1990’s by Llanelli Borough Council and the Welsh Development Agency. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The site is being offered for sale by Informal Tender for a long lease interest in the site. Expressions of interest are invited from developers and potential retail, hotel, pub/restaurant occupiers/operators. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Carmarthenshire County Council executive board member for regeneration and leisure Cllr Meryl Gravell said: “The Harbourside offers a perfect mix of development opportunities with planning consent for mixed use developments which include two housing development sites, a live work area and a commercial leisure site with opportunities for retail, and a restaurant, pub and hotel.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Council Leader Cllr Emlyn Dole said: “The development of Burry Port Harbourside will create an exciting new waterfront area for the town. The project has an emphasis on design quality and sustainability which will set a standard for other future developments to meet.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Colliers International is advising on the sale. For sales particulars or enquiries contact Nick More, associate director, on 0117 917 2005 or email Nick.More@colliers.com ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
