People living with dementia and their carers will have a chance to taste and reminisce about food and recipes from the old days at Llanelli Library. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The event next Wednesday (June 8) 10.30am-12.30pm is one of a series organised jointly by the Library Service and the Alzheimer’s Society, and taking place once a month until July at the Vaughan Street venue. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

There will be a taster session with traditional food that people may remember from the past, traditional recipe books from the Library’s collection and old newspaper adverts to spark some memories. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The final session will be held on Wednesday July 13. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
