RNLI Lifeguards Return To Cefn Sidan Beach
RNLI lifeguards are back at their posts at Cefn Sidan beach.
Lifeguard safety cover will be available on the beach every weekend, and will increase to a daily service for the summer holidays from 10am til 6pm until September 4.
Cllr Meryl Gravell, Carmarthenshire County Council Executive Board Member for Leisure, said: “We are very glad to have the RNLI life guards back on our sands at Cefn Sidan this summer. Our award-winning beach is a huge attraction for people of all ages who love to take a dip in the shore, but it is so vitally important to listen to the safety messages and stay safe. The life guards do a wonderful job and it is reassuring to know that they will have a strong presence on our beach once again.”
