Lifeguard safety cover will be available on the beach every weekend, and will increase to a daily service for the summer holidays from 10am til 6pm until September 4. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Cllr Meryl Gravell, Carmarthenshire County Council Executive Board Member for Leisure, said: “We are very glad to have the RNLI life guards back on our sands at Cefn Sidan this summer. Our award-winning beach is a huge attraction for people of all ages who love to take a dip in the shore, but it is so vitally important to listen to the safety messages and stay safe. The life guards do a wonderful job and it is reassuring to know that they will have a strong presence on our beach once again.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

For tips on how to stay safe on the coast this summer visit the RNLI website www.rnli.org.uk/beachsafety or download the charity’s beach safety mobile app. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
