Road closed due to bridge repairs

Part of the U5321 road in Maesycrugiau will be closed from Monday, February 8 for 21 days. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

It will be closed from its junction with the C1253 for a total distance of 480 metres in a south-easterly direction. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The closure is necessary to ensure public safety whilst repair works to the defective bridge parapet takes place. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The alternative route for north-west bound traffic will be to proceed in a south-easterly direction along the U5321 to its junction with the C1309. At the junction, turn right and continue in a south-easterly direction along the C1309 to its junction with the A485. At the junction, turn right and continue in a south-westerly direction along the A485 to its junction with the C1308. At the junction, turn right and continue in a north-westerly direction to its junction with the C1253. At the junction, turn right and continue in a northerly direction to return to a point north-west of the closure. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
