Road Resurfacing Works To Start

The council is due to start its annual programme of road resurfacing works. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

These essential maintenance works are a high priority and are planned to start in the Ammanford and Cross Hands area. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

High Street in Ammanford (C2192) from its junction with the A482 to its junction with Heol Wallasey will be closed from Tuesday, August 16 to Friday, August 19. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

There will also be long delays and disruption to traffic whilst works are carried out in Llandeilo Road in Cross Hands (A476) from Cross Hands square to the junction of Meadows Road between Monday, August 15 and Thursday, August 18. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Motorists are being asked to take extra care while the works are being carried out to avoid accidents or damage. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
