Creative Exchange pop up exhibition
A group of Cardiff Met Art and Design students and graduates will be running a pop up exhibition of locally-produced artworks at 12 High Street, High Street Arcade in the centre of Cardiff from 26th January to 8th February 2016.
All individuals involved are members of the Creative Exchange – a creative network of students and graduates from Cardiff School of Art and Design, whose aims are to develop a capacity for dialogue, interaction and exchange of ideas between students, graduates and the wider community.
The members of the Creative Exchange are practising at varying stages of their careers as artists, ranging from students currently completing their BA to recently-graduated practising artists, as well as those who are currently studying for a Masters Degree at Cardiff School of Art & Design. Collectively, the artists represent a diverse range of backgrounds, ages, experience and practice.
The exhibition offers an accessible space within which the public are invited to view the works on display and attend a number of activities including the opening event, participatory workshops and artist talk.
Supported by the ‘ARTcade accessible art initiative’ by Katherine Jones at the Castle Quarter Arcades & Cardiff Metropolitan University Career Development Services.
