Lilian celebrates her 100th birthday

The Chair of Carmarthenshire County Council has visited a retired teacher to celebrate her 100th birthday. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Cllr Peter Hughes Griffiths said: “It was a pleasure to call to congratulate Lilian Lloyd of Carmarthen Road, Cross Hands, on her 100th birthday. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“Lilian was a teacher and it was good to hear her tell her story. She taught in Llanddarog School and Drefach before retiring.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
