75% of Eisteddfod tradestands sold out

Three quarters of the tradestands available at this year’s Monmouthshire and District National Eisteddfod have been sold within a month. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The Eisteddfod is an excellent opportunity for any company, business or organisation keen to make an impact in Wales. With up to 150,000 visitors during festival week, a stand on the Maes is the perfect location for launching a product or service, attracting new customers or audience, or even catching up with regular customers face to face. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Eisteddfod Chief Executive, Elfed Roberts, said, “It’s obvious that stallholders, be they businesses or organisations, are looking forward to this year’s Eisteddfod in Monmouthshire. It’s rare for the Maes to be 75% full as early in the year as this. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“Anyone thinking of renting a stand should get in touch as soon as possible to make sure there’s space left. This year’s message is clear – get organised now if you want a stand on the Maes. All the information is on our website, www.eisteddfod.wales/tradestands. You can choose the location of your stand when you confirm your order again this year.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

This year’s Eisteddfod Maes is very convenient for Abergavenny town centre, and we hope that lots of local people will come to the Maes and that Eisteddfod visitors will spend time exploring the town and the surrounding area during festival week. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

This is the first time for the Eisteddfod to be held in Monmouthshire since 1913, and with the area well known for its excellent food and drink and beautiful landscapes, it looks set to be a great Eisteddfod. The caravan and campsite are located on the beautiful Llanover Estate, with a regular shuttle bus service between the site and the Maes throughout the day and late into the evening. Caravan and tent pitches can be ordered online, www.eisteddfod.wales/caravans. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The Monmouthshire and District National Eisteddfod is held on Castle Meadows, Abergavenny from 29 July – 6 August. For more information go online, www.eisteddfod.wales. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
