Easter Madness At Margam Country Park

Margam Country Park is the place to be this Easter with two week’s filled with activities for all ages. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The week kicks off on Easter Monday March the 28th, with a family fun day featuring Circus Workshops with Jimmy Juggles, Pirate Pantomime from Captain Barnacle, Professor Potts the Victorian Explorer, Craft Fayre in the Orangery, Model Boat display on new pond and a whole lot more. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The week activities includes Fantastic Felt craft sessions, Zoolab – looking at Spring and what it means for the flowers and animals found here in the UK, free Castle tours, A taste of Mindfulness (learn about what Mindfulness is, what possibilities it offers and how it can be used by everyone) The Playworks Playbus will also be visiting during the two weeks holidays .These activities will be between the 28th and 30th of March with a lot more on offer later in the week. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Easter activities rounds off with Fairy Cupcake making sessions where you will learn how to decorate a Fairy cupcake and Costumed Tours in the Castle with the Volunteers of Margam. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Council Leader Cllr Ali Thomas OBE said, “Its brilliant to see the wide range of activities that the Park staff organise for the visitors – it certainly seems like there is something to cover everyone’s interests. We look forward to it being another great season for the Park”.
