Residential Road in Neath Port Talbot to Temporarily Close for Civil Engineering Works on July 27, 2026
A residential road in Neath Port Talbot is set to be temporarily closed this month while civil engineering works are carried out.
Crymlyn Road in Skewen, Neath Port Talbot, will be closed for one day in July 27, 2026 for Openreach to do the works in the area.
The order said this will be during periods that are indicated by traffic signs informing the public that the road is closed.
It said: “Crymlyn Road will be closed from its junction with Crymlyn Gardens in a northerly direction for a distance of 630m along its length.
“The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via the unaffected section of Crymlyn Road, Trallwn Road, Bethal Road, Frederick Place, Peniel Green Road, Park Avenue, Sidings Terrace, Dynevor Place, New Road, St John’s Terrace, Ty’n Yr Heol, Main Road and Farmers Road.”
It added that access for emergency services, residents and pedestrians will be maintained during this time.
No specific time for the works have been given.
