Tribute – Cllr. Alf Siddley

The Leader of Neath Port Talbot Council, Councillor Alun Thomas OBE, has paid tribute to Council Member Cllr. Alf Siddley, who passed away on Tuesday 2nd August. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Councillor Thomas said: “I was deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Alf and my thoughts and those of the Council are with his wife Mair, his son Kevin and daughter Julie at this very sad time. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Alf was a gentleman and represented the people of Neath Port Talbot and his home village of Cwmgwrach as a Councillor since May 2008. He was a very popular Member offering advice and help to all and will be sorely missed by all of us.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
