Garden Waste Collections To Take A Winter Break

This article is old - Published: Monday, Oct 10th, 2016

Newport City Council will continue to collect garden waste until week ending 2 December 2016. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Depending on your collection day/week, your last collection will be between 21 November and 2 December 2016. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

You can check all your collection dates at www.newport.gov.uk/mynewport ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Collections will start again week beginning 6 March 2017. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

You can take your garden waste – including Christmas trees – to the Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC), Docks Way, or use your garden waste bin to collect leaf fall ready for the first collections next year. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

We would like to thank all residents for actively participating in the recycling schemes, helping to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill each year. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
