There’s less than 24 hours to go before the stall holders present their delicious offerings and the chefs don their aprons at the Tiny Rebel Food and Drink Festival 2016. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

From 9am on Saturday 1 October, visitors to Newport City Centre will have their choice of local produce, foods from around the world, chef demonstrations, music, street entertainment and more. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

And if we weren’t already excited about what promises to be the city’s biggest and best so far, Newport Food and Drink Festival has been chosen by the UK’s leading holiday rentals site HolidayLettings.co.uk (owned by TripAdvisor) as one the top 13 October events to attend. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Their recent article ‘Where To Go & What To Do in October’ compiled the list to celebrate only the best of UK events taking place. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Saskia Welman, spokesperson for HolidayLettings.co.uk, said: “This tasty festival taking place in Newport’s city centre made it onto our list as it’s packed with culinary delights. There are several cookery demonstrations, tasting sessions, competitions and workshops to attend. You can also take part in the treasure hunt and track down clues at Newport Market, High Street, Friars Walk and the Kingsway Centre to win prizes.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

So make sure you head into the city centre between 9am and 5pm, enjoy some music, sample and take home some treats, and generally enjoy the buzz of the Tiny Rebel Food and Drink Festival 2016. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
