Take Part In Newport’s Well-Being Assessment
One Newport, the city’s Public Services Board (PSB), is seeking views on the well-being of the city and its residents.
Under the Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015, PSBs must prepare and publish an assessment of local well-being which in turn will be used to set objectives for a local well-being plan.
A draft assessment has been prepared for consultation which provides an overview, plus data and analysis relating to economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being for the city as a whole, and its 20 communities/wards.
It takes account of views expressed during a public engagement exercise which ran from June to October 2016.
We are now asking residents to complete a consultation questionnaire to establish whether the draft assessment is a fair and accurate reflection of the state of well-being of the people of Newport, of each community and the whole area, or whether there are any gaps.
To read the draft assessments and complete the questionnaire, visit the One Newport website at http://onenewportlsb.newport.gov.uk/oneNewport/About-One-Newport/Wellbeing-of-Future-Generations-Act/Local-Assessment-of-Wellbeing.aspx
The consultation runs until Sunday 12 February 2017.
