Pembrokeshire Libraries will be hosting a range of activities to entertain children of all ages this Whitsun Half Term. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

At the centre of the activities will be popular children’s character Elmer, with several libraries marking ‘Elmer Day’. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

On ‘Elmer Day’, Saturday 28th May, Fishguard and Pembroke Dock Libraries are inviting children to dress in their brightest colours and come along for a celebration of everyone’s favourite patchwork elephant, Elmer. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Tenby Library will be hosting their own Elmer Day on Friday 3rd June between 11am and 11:45am. The event is suitable for ages 1-11, and children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. To book a place, please contact the library on 01437 775 151. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Bring your favourite bear to Pembroke Dock Library for a special Baby Rhyme Time on Thursday 2nd June from 10:30am. Places are limited so people are invited to book a place on Wednesday 1st June, by contacting the library on 01437 775 825. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Get creative this Whitsun Half Term and make a flower or space border at St Davids Library’s drop-in craft session on Tuesday 31st May. The crafts are available during normal library opening hours and all ages are welcome. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Drop-in to Milford Haven Library and Information Centre throughout the Whitsun Half Term and discover what’s lurking in the library. Search for the animal eyes hidden around the library and unscramble the words to work out which animals they belong to. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
