Up to 100 pieces of artwork will be exhibited following a county-wide Art Challenge run by Pembrokeshire County Council. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The challenge, run through primary and secondary schools, invited children to enter a work of art based on the theme ‘The Pembrokeshire I (or we) see’. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Children could choose one five categories; history, nature, coast and sea, industry or communities. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Their entries can be viewed from Monday to Friday (7th to 11th March) between 9am and 6pm in the upstairs reception area at County Hall. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Ian Westley, Chief Executive, said the standard of work was very impressive. “It was really pleasing to see such a wide variety of imaginative and talented pieces by our local children and young people,” he said. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The five winners, which were chosen by Mr Westley, will be announced on Monday (7th March). ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
