Dementia training for Havenhurst staff

Over 50 staff working at the Havenhurst Respite and Assessment Home in Milford Haven have attended Dementia Friend workshops organised by the Alzheimer’s Society. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

During the workshops, Maxine Ford from the society discussed the impact dementia has on the person and the carer and the small ways in which sufferers can be helped. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
