A new service allowing householders to view their council bills online has been launched by Pembrokeshire County Council ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

e-Billing is the latest edition to the Authority’s ‘My Account’ the online Council Account that enables residents to receive their Council Tax bill online as well as being able to view their Council Tax balance, payment amounts and due dates from the comfort of their own homes. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

This new facility is one of the many improvements being made to the Council’s online services and includes an option to opt in for payment reminder emails sent three days before the due date. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Signing up for My Account also enables householders to make payments, receive notifications about their next waste collection and report instances such as fly-tipping or a faulty street light among others. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The Benefits of e-Billing are: ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

  • It’s eco- friendly, saves paper and is kinder to the environment.
  • You can view your bill or notice as soon as it is available.
  • Each person named on the bill can receive their own copy.
  • You can check your balance, view your payment amount and due dates.
  • You always know where your bill is and have the option to download and print if you want to.
  • You can sign up to receive payment reminders three days before payment is due.
  • It helps us reduce postal and print costs.

“‘My Account’ has made it easier to communicate with the Council and e-Billing is further proof of that,” said Cabinet Spokesperson for Corporate Matters and Finance, Councillor Jamie Adams. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“It is quick and easy to sign up and all you have to do once you are logged in is enter your Council tax reference number and you are free to make payments and receive notifications as to when your next bill is due.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
