Girls Dazzle At Football Tournament
Over 80 girls from nine Pembrokeshire schools took part in the Pembrokeshire Primary Schools Girls Football Festival at Greenhill School recently.
The festival was organised by Sport Pembrokeshire Active Young People Primary School officer Barry John and Swansea City FC officer Ceri Phillips.
Sport Pembrokeshire is Pembrokeshire County Council’s sport development section.
The schools from Golden Grove, Tenby, Saundersfoot, St Teilos, Hafan y Môr, Fenton, Prendergast, Narberth and Pennar were placed into a league where they all played each other in a round robin format, playing eight games each.
A fantastic festival was well supported by parents with many of the girls experiencing playing in a festival for the first time.
