Join The Great British Spring Clean
Pembrokeshire County Council is supporting the forthcoming Great British Spring Clean.
Backed by Keep Britain Tidy, the campaign has one simple ambition – to bring together like-minded people from all walks of life to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and coastline.
But it’s not just about picking up litter. It’s also about sending a clear signal to those who drop the litter: there is growing movement of people who find littering unacceptable.
The event takes place across the UK on the weekend of 3rd to 5th March and aims to rally an army of volunteers to help clean up their local area.
The County Council will be supporting the campaign by offering help to local groups or individuals wishing to organise their own clean up.
The Authority can provide equipment such as bags and gloves and arrange the collection of the bags once the pick has finished.
Anyone wishing to support the campaign but can’t take part between the 3rd and 5th March, can still participate by contacting the County Council.
