Little Haven Flood Scheme Session
A ‘drop-in’ session is being held in Little Haven next week to allow residents to ask questions about the village’s flood alleviation scheme.
Yesterday (Monday, 20th March), Welsh Government announced nearly three-quarters of a million pounds funding for the scheme which is due to start on 6th March.
Pembrokeshire County Council is contributing around £130,000 in match-funding to help reduce the risk of flooding to homes and business in the village.
The presentation is being held in the Bowen Memorial Hall in Little Haven from 11 am until 7 pm on Wednesday, 1st March.
Representatives from the contractors, Dawnus, and consultants, Atkins, will be on hand to answer questions as will Pembrokeshire County Council staff.
