Little Haven Flood Scheme Session

A ‘drop-in’ session is being held in Little Haven next week to allow residents to ask questions about the village’s flood alleviation scheme. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Yesterday (Monday, 20th March), Welsh Government announced nearly three-quarters of a million pounds funding for the scheme which is due to start on 6th March. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Pembrokeshire County Council is contributing around £130,000 in match-funding to help reduce the risk of flooding to homes and business in the village. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The presentation is being held in the Bowen Memorial Hall in Little Haven from 11 am until 7 pm on Wednesday, 1st March. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Representatives from the contractors, Dawnus, and consultants, Atkins, will be on hand to answer questions as will Pembrokeshire County Council staff. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
