Music Sponsorship Renewed

Pembrokeshire’s Music Service has received a cash boost following the renewal of Valero Pembroke’s sponsorship for another year. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The oil giant, long term supporters of the service, donated a cheque for £8,000 at county rehearsals recently. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“We’re very grateful to Valero for agreeing to sponsor the service for another year,” said Pembrokeshire Music Service manager Ben Field. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“The money will help us organise and run numerous music festivals and events for Pembrokeshire’s primary and secondary school students throughout the year. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“It will also provide additional individual tuition for more able and talented young people who would otherwise not reach their full potential.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Valero’s Refinery Public Affairs Manager, Stephen Thornton added: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
