Music Sponsorship Renewed
Pembrokeshire’s Music Service has received a cash boost following the renewal of Valero Pembroke’s sponsorship for another year.
The oil giant, long term supporters of the service, donated a cheque for £8,000 at county rehearsals recently.
“We’re very grateful to Valero for agreeing to sponsor the service for another year,” said Pembrokeshire Music Service manager Ben Field.
“The money will help us organise and run numerous music festivals and events for Pembrokeshire’s primary and secondary school students throughout the year.
“It will also provide additional individual tuition for more able and talented young people who would otherwise not reach their full potential.”
Valero’s Refinery Public Affairs Manager, Stephen Thornton added:
“We’re pleased to continue our support for this service.
“The Valero music festival is one of the highlights of the county’s music calendar and we’re delighted to help Pembrokeshire’s young musicians thrive.”
