Pembrokeshire County Council’s Decision Yesterday To Vote Against The Proposals

In response to Pembrokeshire County Council’s decision yesterday to vote against the proposals regarding secondary education provision in Haverfordwest: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Cllr Jamie Adams, Leader of Pembrokeshire County Council, said: ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“We recognise and accept the position of Council and look forward to moving ahead positively in terms of the re-organisation of secondary education in Haverfordwest. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“As we have said many times, the education of our children is of paramount importance to us and we are resolute in our determination to achieve the very best outcome for them. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“This is a new phase of education planning for Haverfordwest and we are keen to bring pupils, staff, governors, trustees and the wider school community with us as we embark on this journey. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
