A time capsule containing artefacts from the present day has been buried in the foundations of the new primary school currently being constructed in Johnston. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Pupils from the school visited the building site off Langford Road and buried the container with the help of contractors, WB Griffiths. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The contents will provide future generations with a snapshot of day-to-day life of the present school in nearby Cranham Park including photographs, a DVD, examples of the work of pupils as well as a report compiled by the governing body. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The £6.4 million school is due to open later this year. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
