Pupils Road Test Footpath
Pupils and staff at Johnston primary are looking forward to the opening of their new school in January.
On Tuesday morning – as an early Christmas present – pupils visited the school and, as part of the visit, they were accompanied by staff along the safe route that has been included in the construction of the new facility.
“It was a practical lesson for pupils on how to follow the footpath to the new 21st Century school” explained headteacher Gareth Thomas.
The walk to the new school was supported by Pembrokeshire County Council’s transport directorate and local police community support officers.
