A Carew mum has won a Vodafone Smart Tab after entering a prize draw run by Pembrokeshire County Council. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Sarah Cannaby of Kesteven Court was entered into the draw when she signed up to the Authority’s e-Billing service which allows householders to view their Council’s bills online. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

e-Billing is the latest edition to the Authority’s ‘My Account’ – the online Council Account that enables residents to receive their Council Tax bill online as well as being able to view their Council Tax balance, payment amounts and due dates from the comfort of their own homes. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

This new facility is one of the many improvements being made to the Council’s online services and includes an option to opt in for payment reminder emails sent three days before the due date. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Signing up for My Account also enables householders to make payments, receive notifications about their next waste collection and report instances such as fly-tipping or a faulty street light among others. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Sarah said: “I signed up to ‘My Account’ when I moved into my Council house about 18 months and found it a great help. Now I’ve gone a step further by using e-Billing. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“I just find it so much easier completing my Council transactions on-line. I recently ordered my garden waste bin with a click of a mouse.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
