Training Courses Continue At Archives Building
From this Saturday (7th January) the local history research room at Pembrokeshire Archives and Local Studies in Prendergast, Haverfordwest will be closed for three weeks to allow extension work to be carried out.
However, all other Pembrokeshire County Council services provided in the Archives building will continue as usual. All training courses and conferences will take place as previously arranged and the Print Unit will be fully operational.
All meetings scheduled to take place in the building over the next three weeks are also unaffected by the closure of the research room.
The research room is being extended to accommodate more of the huge collection of local history books which used to be housed in the reference section of the old Haverfordwest library.
The room will re-open on Wednesday, February 1st and staff are available on the phone during the closure to carry out research for customers.
