A project which will provide after school, weekend and holiday clubs and schemes for young people with additional needs and disabilities is looking for volunteers to help deliver services.
The new Trinity Project is ready to accept applications from people of all ages wishing to develop their skills with young people, broaden their social network and contribute to their local community.
The project, which is due to open in autumn 2016, will operate weekend youth clubs in Fishguard, Haverfordwest and Pembroke Dock.
“We’re looking for people who have a creative mind, who are ready to engage in play, build friendships and offer support to young people who may need it more than them,” says Cabinet Member Councillor Sue Perkins.
The project will provide a positive experience for youngsters with additional learning needs and disabilities. For volunteers, the opportunity to undertake play work will appeal to those doing their Duke of Edinburgh or Welsh Baccalaureate awards. It will also interest those people wishing to update their CV with a period of volunteering or for those just wishing to get involved in an exciting local project in Pembrokeshire.
