Xmas Goodies For Needy Families

Members of Pembrokeshire County Council’s transport and environment teams based at the Authority’s Thornton depot in Milford Haven have been playing the role of Father Christmas. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

They collected and donated hampers full of food, toys, books and toiletries and gave them to their work colleagues in the Child in Need team. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Child in Need team manager, Emma Clarke, said the hampers would be distributed among ten needy families in the County. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“It’s a wonderful gesture in the true Christmas spirit” said Emma. “The hampers will be a marvellous present for some of the families we work with.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
