Changes to Council-owned town centre car park charges are to be introduced from Saturday, April 1 2017. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The changes will see free car parking introduced in Council-owned car parks in Mountain Ash, Tonypandy and Porth, with charges reduced in the larger town centres of Aberdare and Pontypridd. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

In Aberdare and Pontypridd, reduced charges mean town centre visitors will be able to park for just 50p in short stay car parks and, on Saturdays, can access all day parking in a long stay car park for just £1. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Blue Badge holders will continue to be able to park in all Council owned car parks free of charge. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
