Distributing Household Enquiry Forms To Residents Across Rhondda Cynon Taf

In order to update the Electoral Register, the Council is in the process of distributing Household Enquiry Forms to residents across Rhondda Cynon Taf. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Household Enquiry Form shows who is registered to vote at a particular address with residents reminded to check the details and confirm or amend as appropriate. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

A Spokesperson for the Electoral Registration Officer for Rhondda Cynon Taf, said: “The Council would like to advise that a printing error has been identified, meaning a small amount of information on page 4 of the explanatory notes pages regarding the electoral register is duplicated rather than providing information about the ‘open register’. ” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

As a result the Council is taking proactive steps to ensure all residents receive the correct information. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The Council would like to confirm that this issue will in no way affect registration on the electoral roll. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
