Invite Your Friends, Family Or Colleagues At Rhondda Bowling Competition

Bowl over your friends, family or colleagues at Rhondda Bowl, Tonyrefail this April (Wednesday 13th April) in aid of some very worthwhile causes. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Residents are being urged to join in the fun-filled event and make a winning “strike” for good causes, thanks to this exciting event organised on behalf of the Mayor’s Charity Appeal. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The event, at Rhondda Bowl, offers guests the chance to enjoy a night of bowling for just £10 for two games (teams of six only) plus a meal. The fun starts at 6pm. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

People can have a great night out with their family, friends or even work colleagues, while also raising funds for the Mayor’s chosen charities. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

This year the chosen charities are –Ty Hafan – Children Hospice, Marie Curie, Pontyclun Bosom Pals (RCT), Age Connect (RCT), Welsh Heart the Dai Fib Appeal (RCT), Eye to Eye Counselling (RCT) and 2 wish upon a star (RCT). ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Mayor, Councillor Barry Stephens, said: “I am so pleased to be able to join forces with Rhondda Bowl to offer an evening of such fun, which will also help my charities. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

“This is a great chance for families, friends or even work colleagues to get together for the evening and enjoy bowling.” ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
