Road Closure in Tonteg for Vegetation Removal Around Railway Bridge in October

A section of road in Tonteg will close for three nights in October for vegetation to be removed around a railway bridge.
Maesmawr Road will be closed from a point 60m west of its junction with Gwaelod-y-Garth Road for a distance of approximately 31m in a southwestern direction.
It will close from 10pm on October 10 until 5am on October 11, from 10pm on October 11 until 5am on October 12, and from 10pm on October 12 until 5am on October 13.
The closure is needed to allow works to remove vegetation around the railway bridge.
An alternative route is available via Maesmawr Road, Gwaelod-y-Garth Road (north-eastbound), Upper Boat roundabout, Gwaelod-y-Garth Road (south-westbound), A473 Tonteg Road, and Pound Farm Lane.
Access will not be maintained for emergency services, pedestrians, or to premises.
Access will be maintained for buses, coaches, and public transportation.
