Sections of Roads in Tonyrefail to Close for Poling Works in October

Sections of roads in Tonyrefail will close for a few days in October for poling works to take place.
Pant-y-Brad will close from the southern side of its junction with The Avenue south-eastwards for a distance of 60m.
Meanwhile the access road into Tref-y-Rhyd Primary School, from its junction with Pant-y-Brad, will close south-westwards for a distance of 45m.
The daytime closures will be in force from 8am to 5pm from October 6 until October 8.
The closures are necessary to allow poling works on behalf of BT Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Pantybrad, Llantrisant Road (Castellau), Llantrisant Business Parc Access Road, A4119, Elwyn Street, Ely Valley Road, Penygarreg Road, Tylcha Wen Terrace, Mill Street, High Street, Pretoria Road, and Llantrisant Road (Tonyrefail).
Access will not be maintained for emergency services, buses, coaches, or public transportation but access will be maintained for pedestrians and to premises.
