Christmas by Candlelight makes a return to Swansea’s Brangwyn Hall in December, bringing with it lots of festive cheer in the build-up to Christmas. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The concert, which is well established as one of the highlights of the musical calendar, is being held at 7.30pm on Friday December 23, with tickets already selling quickly. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

Cllr Robert Francis-Davies, Swansea Council’s Cabinet Member for Enterprise, Development and Regeneration, said: “Christmas concerts at the Brangwyn are always magical events that generate a terrific, festive atmosphere in the build-up to Christmas. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

“They’re always extremely popular, but this of course means that tickets sell quickly. I’d encourage anyone who’s interested in this concert to snap up their tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.” ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

The Christmas by Candlelight concert is made up of a number of seasonal melodies. Lit by candlelight, the concert will be conducted by Alwyn Humphries and will feature soloist Ros Evans, the Chamber Orchestra of Wales and Chorale, and accompanying musicians. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
