Example To Headline Club MTV Swansea Concert
Example will headline the Club MTV concert at Swansea’s Singleton Park on Saturday September 24.
Some of the singer, songwriter, rapper and record producer’s number one hits include ‘Changed the way you kiss me’ and ‘Stay awake’.
His second studio album, ‘Won’t go quietly’, also peaked at number one on the UK dance chart.
Swansea Council and the Welsh Government have worked closely with MTV to bring the concert to the city.
Other stars already confirmed for the concert include Sigma, Nero, Professor Green, Jonas Blue and Redlight. The concert, which has a capacity for up to 20,000 people, will feature seven hours of live music.
Tickets, priced at just £15 plus a £1.50 booking fee, can be purchased on either the Ticketmaster website at www.ticketmaster.co.uk or from Derricks Music on Oxford Street. Tickets are selling fast, so people are being encouraged to buy them soon to avoid disappointment.
Some of Professor Green’s biggest hits include Read All About It, featuring Emile Sandé; I Need You Tonight, featuring Ed Drewett; and Just Be Good To Green, featuring Lily Allen.
London-based music producer Jonas Blue’s hits include Fast Car, featuring Dakota, which reached number two in the UK singles chart; as well as Perfect Strangers, featuring JP Cooper, which also reached number two in the UK singles chart.
Bristol DJ Redlight is a huge underground favourite, whose hits include Switch it Off, Get Out Of My Head and Lost In Your Love.
Club MTV residents and rising stars of the UK’s EDM scene, R3WIRE and Varski, have also been confirmed for the Singleton Park concert.
