Blaenavon’s World Heritage Day takes place this Saturday 25 June from 11am until 4pm.
Popular local band the ReVamps are headlining a packed music and dance line-up, and there will also be sporting events, a children’s disco, entertainers, animals from Greenmeadow Community Farm, fairground rides and activities for children.
Local traders will also be getting involved with special offers, and there will be stalls selling food and crafts.
The Heritage Costume Parade, this year celebrating the theme ‘Blaenavon, past and present’ will start at 1pm from the top of Broad Street before winding its way throughout the town.
Chair of the World Heritage Day Committiee, Gareth Davies, said: “As always, World Heritage Day is set to be a great day out for the whole family.
“We have a wide variety of music, dance and entertainment, and plenty of rides and stalls to give everyone something to enjoy, and of course the Heritage Costume Parade, which is always the highlight of the day.”
