Celebrate St David’s Day at Pontypool Indoor Market

Pontypool Indoor Market will be celebrating St David’s Day from 10am until 3pm on Tuesday 1 March. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

As well as stalls there will be Welsh folk dancing, Welsh food and performances from local Welsh schools. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Activities are being organised by Menter Iaith which works to promote the use of the Welsh language in the community. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

10.30am – Ysgol Bryn Onnen and Ysgol Feithrin Pont-y-pwl
1.30pm – Ysgol Panteg
