Children celebrate World Book Day in Torfaen

Hundreds of children across Torfaen dressed up as their favourite characters to celebrate World Book Day today. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

The most popular themes this year included Star Wars, Harry Potter, superheroes and Disney princesses. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​

Schools across the borough held their own World Book Day Events, while Torfaen’s libraries held readings and activities to mark the day. ‌​‌​‌​​​‍‌​‌​​‌‌‌‍‌​‌‌​​‌​‍‌​‌‌‌​‌‌‍‌​‌‌‌‌​​
