Coffee Shop in Cwmbran Seeks Planning Permission for Unauthorized Garden Shelter

A COFFEE shop is seeking planning permission for a garden shelter it put up without approval. 
The garden room and shelter, also described as a pergola, with bi-fold doors has been attached to the side of the Coffee & Co unit at the newly developed Llantarnam District Centre in Cwmbran since July. 
The other units at the centre, developed in conjunction with the Maltings housing development, are Tesco Express and Llantarnam Vets. 
The coffee shop, which opened in February, has submitted a planning application to Torfaen Borough Council for permission for the pergola and the application states work on installing the fixure hasn’t yet been completed.
